The 1,000,000 volume (20,000 m2) library is to be the actual as well as formal center of campus. It is designed with two distinct focus, one that addresses the campus main lawn, while the other creates an entrance to the university from the center plaza.
The precast concrete library is composed of a series of stacks arranged around a central courtyard while it’s university facade is punctuated by the conical volume of the special collections area.
